As we move into a fresh New Year of many perspectives and more possibilities, we at LIFE BREAD invite you to a whole-hearted pause. A chance to consider and embrace the nourishing rhythms of bread making that feed more than physical hunger but satisfy the craving of genuine personhood in real life. Not pressure, not performance, nor perfection, but savouring presence in profoundly practical and simple ways ONE LOAF AT A TIME!
And so we begin in the season we find ourselves: “Winter.” A season of rest, depth, retreat, and slowing down; a grounding time to focus on steady routines and hearty bread. Bringing back to the table real grain, real time, real nurturing of presence and purpose, where we feed ourselves well.
Wheat berries provide our daily sustenance for great health and flavorful meals. Holding the berries, noticing texture, smell, etc., gently nudges the nervous system into the calming moment for an attentive process, and we are thankful for their unique completeness and stability.

New beginnings start with just one small change, a scoop of wheat berries, a mindful grind, a creative mix. A loaf rising on the counter or quietly working in the bread-maker. This is how great food and life-giving habits are formed by embracing bread that fits YOUR life.
Stay tuned for more nutritional insights, current practices and anything else we might KNEAD for our daily bread life!
